Surah 4 · Verse 128

وَاِنِwa-iniAnd ifامْرَاَةٌim'ra-atuna womanخَافَتْkhāfatfearsمِنْminfromبَعْلِهَاbaʿlihāher husbandنُشُوزاًnushūzanill-conductاَوْaworاِعْرَاضاًiʿ'rāḍandesertionفَلَاfalāthen (there is) noجُنَاحَjunāḥasinعَلَيْهِمَٓاʿalayhimāon both of themاَنْanthatيُصْلِحَاyuṣ'liḥāthey make terms of peaceبَيْنَهُمَاbaynahumābetween themselvesصُلْحاًۜṣul'ḥana reconciliationوَالصُّلْحُwal-ṣul'ḥuand [the] reconciliationخَيْرٌۜkhayrun(is) bestوَاُحْضِرَتِwa-uḥ'ḍiratiAnd are swayedالْاَنْفُسُl-anfusuthe soulsالشُّحَّۜl-shuḥa(by) greedوَاِنْwa-inBut ifتُحْسِنُواtuḥ'sinūyou do goodوَتَتَّقُواwatattaqūand fear (Allah)فَاِنَّfa-innathen indeedاللّٰهَl-lahaAllahكَانَkānaisبِمَاbimāof whatتَعْمَلُونَtaʿmalūnayou doخَب۪يراًkhabīranAll-Aware
