Surah 4 · Verse 173

فَاَمَّاfa-ammāThen as forالَّذ۪ينَalladhīnathose whoاٰمَنُواāmanūbelievedوَعَمِلُواwaʿamilūand didالصَّالِحَاتِl-ṣāliḥātithe righteous deedsفَيُوَفّ۪يهِمْfayuwaffīhimthen He will give them in fullاُجُورَهُمْujūrahumtheir rewardوَيَز۪يدُهُمْwayazīduhumand give them moreمِنْminfromفَضْلِه۪ۚfaḍlihiHis Bountyوَاَمَّاwa-ammāAnd as forالَّذ۪ينَalladhīnathose whoاسْتَنْكَفُواis'tankafūdisdainedوَاسْتَكْبَرُواwa-is'takbarūand were arrogantفَيُعَذِّبُهُمْfayuʿadhibuhumthen He will punish themعَذَاباًʿadhāban(with) a punishmentاَل۪يماًۙalīmanpainfulوَلَاwalāand notيَجِدُونَyajidūnawill they findلَهُمْlahumfor themselvesمِنْminfromدُونِdūnibesidesاللّٰهِl-lahiAllahوَلِياًّwaliyyanany protectorوَلَاwalāand notنَص۪يراًnaṣīranany helper
