وَلَيْسَتِwalaysatiAnd notالتَّوْبَةُl-tawbatu(is) the acceptance of repentanceلِلَّذ۪ينَlilladhīnafor those whoيَعْمَلُونَyaʿmalūnadoالسَّيِّـَٔاتِۚl-sayiātithe evil deedsحَتّٰٓىḥattāuntilاِذَاidhāwhenحَضَرَḥaḍaraapproachesاَحَدَهُمُaḥadahumuone of themالْمَوْتُl-mawtu[the] deathقَالَqālahe saysاِنّ۪يinnīIndeed Iتُبْتُtub'turepentالْـٰٔنَl-ānanowوَلَاwalāand notالَّذ۪ينَalladhīnathose whoيَمُوتُونَyamūtūnadieوَهُمْwahumwhile theyكُفَّارٌۜkuffārun(are) disbelieversاُو۬لٰٓئِكَulāikaThoseاَعْتَدْنَاaʿtadnāWe have preparedلَهُمْlahumfor themعَذَاباًʿadhābana punishmentاَل۪يماًalīmanpainfulThere will be no repentance for those who commit sin until death comes upon one of them, then he says, "I repent now!"
