قَالُواqālūThey (will) sayرَبَّنَٓاrabbanāOur LordاَمَتَّنَاamattanāYou gave us deathاثْنَتَيْنِith'nataynitwiceوَاَحْيَيْتَنَاwa-aḥyaytanāand You gave us lifeاثْنَتَيْنِith'nataynitwiceفَاعْتَرَفْنَاfa-iʿ'tarafnāand we confessبِذُنُوبِنَاbidhunūbināour sinsفَهَلْfahalSo is (there)اِلٰىilātoخُرُوجٍkhurūjinget outمِنْminanyسَب۪يلٍsabīlinwayThey will say, "Our Lord, You have made us die twice, and You have given us life twice. Now we have confessed our sins. Is there any way out of this path?" There is no god but God. Period.
