Surah 40 · Verse 67

هُوَhuwaHeالَّذ۪يalladhī(is) the One Whoخَلَقَكُمْkhalaqakumcreated youمِنْminfromتُرَابٍturābindustثُمَّthummathenمِنْminfromنُطْفَةٍnuṭ'fatina semen-dropثُمَّthummathenمِنْminfromعَلَقَةٍʿalaqatina clinging substanceثُمَّthummathenيُخْرِجُكُمْyukh'rijukumHe brings you outطِفْلاًṭif'lan(as) a childثُمَّthummathenلِتَبْلُغُٓواlitablughūlets you reachاَشُدَّكُمْashuddakumyour maturityثُمَّthummathenلِتَكُونُواlitakūnūlets you becomeشُيُوخاًۚshuyūkhanoldوَمِنْكُمْwaminkumand among youمَنْman(is he) whoيُتَوَفّٰىyutawaffādiesمِنْminbeforeقَبْلُqablubeforeوَلِتَبْلُغُٓواwalitablughūand lets you reachاَجَلاًajalana termمُسَمًّىmusammanspecifiedوَلَعَلَّكُمْwalaʿallakumand that you mayتَعْقِلُونَtaʿqilūnause reason
