From among His signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Do not prostrate to the sun, nor the moon; you shall prostrate to God who created them, if it is truly Him you serve.

[41:37] The verse does not say "before sun and moon," but "for/to sun and moon." We are commanded not to prostrate to the sun and moon, but only to God. The verse prohibits physical and mental prostration to others than God. See 16:49.
