Surah 42 · Verse 44

وَمَنْwamanAnd whoeverيُضْلِلِyuḍ'liliAllah lets go astrayاللّٰهُl-lahuAllah lets go astrayفَمَاfamāthen notلَهُlahufor himمِنْminanyوَلِيٍّwaliyyinprotectorمِنْminafter Himبَعْدِه۪ۜbaʿdihiafter HimوَتَرَىwatarāAnd you will seeالظَّالِم۪ينَl-ẓālimīnathe wrongdoersلَمَّاlammāwhenرَاَوُاra-awūthey seeالْعَذَابَl-ʿadhābathe punishmentيَقُولُونَyaqūlūnasayingهَلْhalIsاِلٰىilā(there) forمَرَدٍّmaraddinreturnمِنْminanyسَب۪يلٍۚsabīlinway
