Surah 45 · Verse 35

ذٰلِكُمْdhālikumThatبِاَنَّكُمُbi-annakumu(is) because youاتَّخَذْتُمْittakhadhtumtookاٰيَاتِāyāti(the) Versesاللّٰهِl-lahi(of) Allahهُزُواًhuzuwan(in) ridiculeوَغَرَّتْكُمُwagharratkumuand deceived youالْحَيٰوةُl-ḥayatuthe lifeالدُّنْيَاۚl-dun'yā(of) the worldفَالْيَوْمَfal-yawmaSo this Dayلَاlānotيُخْرَجُونَyukh'rajūnathey will be brought forthمِنْهَاmin'hāfrom itوَلَاwalāand notهُمْhumtheyيُسْتَعْتَبُونَyus'taʿtabūnawill be asked to appease
