Surah 46 · Verse 20

وَيَوْمَwayawmaAnd (the) Dayيُعْرَضُyuʿ'raḍuwill be exposedالَّذ۪ينَalladhīnathose whoكَفَرُواkafarūdisbelievedعَلَىʿalātoالنَّارِۜl-nārithe FireاَذْهَبْتُمْadhhabtumYou exhaustedطَيِّبَاتِكُمْṭayyibātikumyour good thingsف۪يfīinحَيَاتِكُمُḥayātikumuyour lifeالدُّنْيَاl-dun'yā(of) the worldوَاسْتَمْتَعْتُمْwa-is'tamtaʿtumand you took your pleasuresبِهَاۚbihāthereinفَالْيَوْمَfal-yawmaSo todayتُجْزَوْنَtuj'zawnayou will be recompensedعَذَابَʿadhāba(with) a punishmentالْهُونِl-hūnihumiliatingبِمَاbimābecauseكُنْتُمْkuntumyou wereتَسْتَكْبِرُونَtastakbirūnaarrogantفِيfīinالْاَرْضِl-arḍithe earthبِغَيْرِbighayriwithoutالْحَقِّl-ḥaqi[the] rightوَبِمَاwabimāand becauseكُنْتُمْkuntumyou wereتَفْسُقُونَ۟tafsuqūnadefiantly disobedient
