Surah 46 · Verse 26

وَلَقَدْwalaqadAnd certainlyمَكَّنَّاهُمْmakkannāhumWe had established themف۪يمَٓاfīmāin whatاِنْinnotمَكَّنَّاكُمْmakkannākumWe have established youف۪يهِfīhiin itوَجَعَلْنَاwajaʿalnāand We madeلَهُمْlahumfor themسَمْعاًsamʿanhearingوَاَبْصَاراًwa-abṣāranand visionوَاَفْـِٔدَةًۘwa-afidatanand heartsفَمَٓاfamāBut notاَغْنٰىaghnāavailedعَنْهُمْʿanhumthemسَمْعُهُمْsamʿuhumtheir hearingوَلَٓاwalāand notاَبْصَارُهُمْabṣāruhumtheir visionوَلَٓاwalāand notاَفْـِٔدَتُهُمْafidatuhumtheir heartsمِنْminanyشَيْءٍshayinthingاِذْidhwhenكَانُواkānūthey wereيَجْحَدُونَyajḥadūnarejectingبِاٰيَاتِbiāyāti(the) Signsاللّٰهِl-lahi(of) Allahوَحَاقَwaḥāqaand envelopedبِهِمْbihimthemمَاmāwhatكَانُواkānūthey used toبِه۪bihi[at it]يَسْتَهْزِؤُ۫نَ۟yastahziūnaridicule
