Surah 46 · Verse 35

فَاصْبِرْfa-iṣ'birSo be patientكَمَاkamāasصَبَرَṣabarahad patienceاُو۬لُواulūthose of determinationالْعَزْمِl-ʿazmithose of determinationمِنَminaofالرُّسُلِl-rusulithe Messengersوَلَاwalāand (do) notتَسْتَعْجِلْtastaʿjilseek to hastenلَهُمْۜlahumfor themكَاَنَّهُمْka-annahumAs if they hadيَوْمَyawma(the) Dayيَرَوْنَyarawnathey seeمَاmāwhatيُوعَدُونَۙyūʿadūnathey were promisedلَمْlamnotيَلْبَثُٓواyalbathūremainedاِلَّاillāexceptسَاعَةًsāʿatanan hourمِنْminofنَهَارٍۜnahārina dayبَلَاغٌۚbalāghunA notificationفَهَلْfahalBut willيُهْلَكُyuh'laku(any) be destroyedاِلَّاillāexceptالْقَوْمُl-qawmuthe peopleالْفَاسِقُونَl-fāsiqūnathe defiantly disobedient
