Surah 47 · Verse 22

فَهَلْfahalThen wouldعَسَيْتُمْʿasaytumyou perhapsاِنْinifتَوَلَّيْتُمْtawallaytumyou are given authorityاَنْanthatتُفْسِدُواtuf'sidūyou cause corruptionفِيfīinالْاَرْضِl-arḍithe earthوَتُقَطِّعُٓواwatuqaṭṭiʿūand cut offاَرْحَامَكُمْarḥāmakumyour ties of kinship
