لَقَدْlaqadCertainlyرَضِيَraḍiyaAllah was pleasedاللّٰهُl-lahuAllah was pleasedعَنِʿaniwithالْمُؤْمِن۪ينَl-mu'minīnathe believersاِذْidhwhenيُبَايِعُونَكَyubāyiʿūnakathey pledged allegiance to youتَحْتَtaḥtaunderالشَّجَرَةِl-shajaratithe treeفَعَلِمَfaʿalimaand He knewمَاmāwhatف۪يfī(was) inقُلُوبِهِمْqulūbihimtheir heartsفَاَنْزَلَfa-anzalaso He sent downالسَّك۪ينَةَl-sakīnatathe tranquilityعَلَيْهِمْʿalayhimupon themوَاَثَابَهُمْwa-athābahumand rewarded themفَتْحاًfatḥan(with) a victoryقَر۪يباًۙqarībannearGod is pleased with those who acknowledge who pledged allegiance to you under the tree. He thus knew what was in their hearts, so He sent down tranquility upon them, and rewarded them with a near victory.
