Surah 5 · Verse 12

وَلَقَدْwalaqadAnd certainlyاَخَذَakhadhatookاللّٰهُl-lahuAllahم۪يثَاقَmīthāqaa Covenantبَن۪ٓيbanī(from the) Childrenاِسْرَٓائ۪لَۚis'rāīla(of) Israelوَبَعَثْنَاwabaʿathnāand We appointedمِنْهُمُmin'humuamong themاثْنَيْith'naytwoعَشَرَʿashara(and) tenنَق۪يباًۜnaqībanleadersوَقَالَwaqālaAnd saidاللّٰهُl-lahuAllahاِنّ۪يinnīIndeed, I (am)مَعَكُمْۜmaʿakumwith youلَئِنْla-inifاَقَمْتُمُaqamtumuyou establishالصَّلٰوةَl-ṣalatathe prayerوَاٰتَيْتُمُwaātaytumuand giveالزَّكٰوةَl-zakatathe zakahوَاٰمَنْتُمْwaāmantumand you believeبِرُسُل۪يbirusulīin My Messengersوَعَزَّرْتُمُوهُمْwaʿazzartumūhumand you assist themوَاَقْرَضْتُمُwa-aqraḍtumuand you loanاللّٰهَl-laha(to) Allahقَرْضاًqarḍana loanحَسَناًḥasanangoodlyلَاُكَفِّرَنَّla-ukaffirannasurely I will removeعَنْكُمْʿankumfrom youسَيِّـَٔاتِكُمْsayyiātikumyour evil deedsوَلَاُدْخِلَنَّكُمْwala-ud'khilannakumand I will surely admit youجَنَّاتٍjannātin(to) gardensتَجْر۪يtajrīflowمِنْminfromتَحْتِهَاtaḥtihāunderneath themالْاَنْهَارُۚl-anhāruthe riversفَمَنْfamanBut whoeverكَفَرَkafaradisbelievedبَعْدَbaʿdaafterذٰلِكَdhālikathatمِنْكُمْminkumamong youفَقَدْfaqadthen certainlyضَلَّḍallahe strayedسَوَٓاءَsawāa(from) the wayالسَّب۪يلِl-sabīlithe right
