Surah 5 · Verse 63

لَوْلَاlawlāWhy (do) notيَنْهٰيهُمُyanhāhumuforbid themالرَّبَّانِيُّونَl-rabāniyūnathe Rabbisوَالْاَحْبَارُwal-aḥbāruand the religious scholarsعَنْʿanfromقَوْلِهِمُqawlihimutheir sayingالْاِثْمَl-ith'mathe sinfulوَاَكْلِهِمُwa-aklihimuand their eatingالسُّحْتَۜl-suḥ'ta(of) the forbiddenلَبِئْسَlabi'saSurely, evilمَاmā(is) whatكَانُواkānūthey used toيَصْنَعُونَyaṣnaʿūnado
