Surah 5 · Verse 91

اِنَّمَاinnamāOnlyيُر۪يدُyurīduintendsالشَّيْطَانُl-shayṭānuthe Shaitaanاَنْantoيُوقِعَyūqiʿacauseبَيْنَكُمُbaynakumubetween youالْعَدَاوَةَl-ʿadāwata[the] enmityوَالْبَغْضَٓاءَwal-baghḍāaand [the] hatredفِيfīthroughالْخَمْرِl-khamriintoxicantsوَالْمَيْسِرِwal-maysiriand gamblingوَيَصُدَّكُمْwayaṣuddakumand hinders youعَنْʿanfromذِكْرِdhik'ri(the) remembranceاللّٰهِl-lahi(of) Allahوَعَنِwaʿaniand fromالصَّلٰوةِۚl-ṣalatithe prayerفَهَلْfahalSo willاَنْتُمْantumyouمُنْتَهُونَmuntahūna(be) the ones who abstain
