Surah 57 · Verse 14

يُنَادُونَهُمْyunādūnahumThey will call themاَلَمْalamWere notنَكُنْnakunweمَعَكُمْۜmaʿakumwith youقَالُواqālūThey will sayبَلٰىbalāYesوَلٰكِنَّكُمْwalākinnakumbut youفَـتَنْتُمْfatantumled to temptationاَنْفُسَكُمْanfusakumyourselvesوَتَرَبَّصْتُمْwatarabbaṣtumand you awaitedوَارْتَبْتُمْwa-ir'tabtumand you doubtedوَغَرَّتْكُمُwagharratkumuand deceived youالْاَمَانِيُّl-amāniyuthe wishful thinkingحَتّٰىḥattāuntilجَٓاءَjāacameاَمْرُamru(the) Commandاللّٰهِl-lahi(of) AllahوَغَرَّكُمْwagharrakumAnd deceived youبِاللّٰهِbil-lahiabout Allahالْغَرُورُl-gharūruthe deceiver
