لَئِنْla-inIfاُخْرِجُواukh'rijūthey are expelledلَاlānotيَخْرُجُونَyakhrujūnathey will leaveمَعَهُمْۚmaʿahumwith themوَلَئِنْwala-inand ifقُوتِلُواqūtilūthey are foughtلَاlānotيَنْصُرُونَهُمْۚyanṣurūnahumthey will help themوَلَئِنْwala-inAnd ifنَصَرُوهُمْnaṣarūhumthey help themلَيُوَلُّنَّlayuwallunnacertainly they will turnالْاَدْبَارَ۠l-adbāra(their) backsثُمَّthummathenلَاlānotيُنْصَرُونَyunṣarūnathey will be helpedIf they were driven out, they would not have gone out with them, and if anyone fought them, they would not have supported them. Even if they supported them, they would have turned around and fled. They could never win.
