Surah 59 · Verse 21

لَوْlawIfاَنْزَلْنَاanzalnāWe (had) sent downهٰذَاhādhāthisالْقُرْاٰنَl-qur'ānaQuranعَلٰىʿalāonجَبَلٍjabalina mountainلَرَاَيْتَهُlara-aytahusurely you (would) have seen itخَاشِعاًkhāshiʿanhumbledمُتَصَدِّعاًmutaṣaddiʿanbreaking asunderمِنْminfromخَشْيَةِkhashyati(the) fearاللّٰهِۜl-lahi(of) Allahوَتِلْكَwatil'kaAnd theseالْاَمْثَالُl-amthāluexamplesنَضْرِبُهَاnaḍribuhāWe present themلِلنَّاسِlilnnāsito the peopleلَعَلَّهُمْlaʿallahumso that they mayيَتَفَكَّرُونَyatafakkarūnagive thought
