وَلَوْwalawAnd (even) ifاَنَّـنَاannanā[that] We (had)نَزَّلْـنَٓاnazzalnā[We] sent downاِلَيْهِمُilayhimuto themالْمَلٰٓئِكَةَl-malāikatathe Angelsوَكَلَّمَهُمُwakallamahumuand spoken to themالْمَوْتٰىl-mawtāthe deadوَحَشَرْنَاwaḥasharnāand We gatheredعَلَيْهِمْʿalayhimbefore themكُلَّkullaeveryشَيْءٍshayinthingقُبُلاًqubulanface to faceمَاmānotكَانُواkānūthey wereلِيُؤْمِنُٓواliyu'minūto believeاِلَّٓاillāunlessاَنْan[that]يَشَٓاءَyashāawillsاللّٰهُl-lahuAllahوَلٰكِنَّwalākinnaButاَكْثَرَهُمْaktharahummost of themيَجْهَلُونَyajhalūna(are) ignorantIf We had sent down to them the angels, and the dead spoke to them, and We had gathered before them everything, they still would not acknowledge except if God wills. But most of them are ignorant.
