Surah 6 · Verse 125

فَمَنْfamanSo whoeverيُرِدِyuridiwantsاللّٰهُl-lahuAllahاَنْanthatيَهْدِيَهُyahdiyahuHe guides himيَشْرَحْyashraḥHe expandsصَدْرَهُṣadrahuhis breastلِلْاِسْلَامِۚlil'is'lāmito Islamوَمَنْwamanand whoeverيُرِدْyuridHe wantsاَنْanthatيُضِلَّهُyuḍillahuHe lets him go astrayيَجْعَلْyajʿalHe makesصَدْرَهُṣadrahuhis breastضَيِّقاًḍayyiqantightحَرَجاًḥarajanand constrictedكَاَنَّمَاka-annamāas thoughيَصَّعَّدُyaṣṣaʿʿaduhe (were) climbingفِيfīintoالسَّمَٓاءِۜl-samāithe skyكَذٰلِكَkadhālikaThusيَجْعَلُyajʿaluplacesاللّٰهُl-lahuAllahالرِّجْسَl-rij'sathe filthعَلَىʿalāonالَّذ۪ينَalladhīnathose whoلَاlā(do) notيُؤْمِنُونَyu'minūnabelieve
