Surah 6 · Verse 138

وَقَالُواwaqālūAnd they sayهٰذِه۪ٓhādhihiTheseاَنْعَامٌanʿāmun(are) cattleوَحَرْثٌwaḥarthunand cropsحِجْرٌۘḥij'runforbiddenلَاlāno (one)يَطْعَمُهَٓاyaṭʿamuhācan eat themاِلَّاillāexceptمَنْmanwhomنَشَٓاءُnashāuwe willبِزَعْمِهِمْbizaʿmihimby their claimوَاَنْعَامٌwa-anʿāmunAnd cattleحُرِّمَتْḥurrimatforbiddenظُهُورُهَاẓuhūruhā(are) their backsوَاَنْعَامٌwa-anʿāmunand cattleلَاlānotيَذْكُرُونَyadhkurūnathey mentionاسْمَis'ma(the) nameاللّٰهِl-lahi(of) Allahعَلَيْهَاʿalayhāon itافْتِرَٓاءًif'tirāan(as) an inventionعَلَيْهِۜʿalayhiagainst Himسَيَجْز۪يهِمْsayajzīhimHe will recompense themبِمَاbimāfor whatكَانُواkānūthey used toيَفْتَرُونَyaftarūnainvent
