قَدْqadIndeedخَسِرَkhasiraincurred lossالَّذ۪ينَalladhīnathose whoكَذَّبُواkadhabūdeniedبِلِقَٓاءِbiliqāiin (the) meetingاللّٰهِۜl-lahi(with) Allahحَتّٰٓىḥattāuntilاِذَاidhāwhenجَٓاءَتْهُمُjāathumucame to themالسَّاعَةُl-sāʿatuthe Hourبَغْتَةًbaghtatansuddenlyقَالُواqālūthey saidيَاyāOh!حَسْرَتَنَاḥasratanāOur regretعَلٰىʿalāoverمَاmāwhatفَرَّطْنَاfarraṭnāwe neglectedف۪يهَاۙfīhāconcerning itوَهُمْwahumwhile theyيَحْمِلُونَyaḥmilūnawill bearاَوْزَارَهُمْawzārahumtheir burdensعَلٰىʿalāonظُهُورِهِمْۜẓuhūrihimtheir backsاَلَاalāUnquestionablyسَٓاءَsāaEvilمَاmā(is) whatيَزِرُونَyazirūnathey bearLosers are those who have denied their meeting with God; until the moment comes to them suddenly, then they say, "We deeply regret what we have wasted in it," and they will carry their burdens on their backs; miserable indeed is their burden.
