Surah 6 · Verse 8

وَقَالُواwaqālūAnd they saidلَوْلَٓاlawlāWhy has not beenاُنْزِلَunzilasent downعَلَيْهِʿalayhito himمَلَكٌۜmalakunan AngelوَلَوْwalawAnd ifاَنْزَلْنَاanzalnāWe (had) sent downمَلَكاًmalakanan Angelلَقُضِيَlaquḍiyasurely (would) have been decidedالْاَمْرُl-amruthe matterثُمَّthummathenلَاlānoيُنْظَرُونَyunẓarūnarespite would have been granted to them
