وَلَمَّاwalammāAnd whenوَقَعَwaqaʿafellعَلَيْهِمُʿalayhimuon themالرِّجْزُl-rij'zuthe punishmentقَالُواqālūthey saidيَاyāOمُوسَىmuwsāMusaادْعُud'ʿuInvokeلَنَاlanāfor usرَبَّكَrabbakayour Lordبِمَاbimāby whatعَهِدَʿahidaHe has promisedعِنْدَكَۚʿindakato youلَئِنْla-inIfكَشَفْتَkashaftayou removeعَنَّاʿannāfrom usالرِّجْزَl-rij'zathe punishmentلَنُؤْمِنَنَّlanu'minannasurely, we will believeلَكَlaka[for] youوَلَنُرْسِلَنَّwalanur'silannaand surely, we will sendمَعَكَmaʿakawith youبَن۪ٓيbanī(the) Childrenاِسْرَٓائ۪لَۚis'rāīla(of) IsraelWhen the plague befell them, they said, "O Moses, call on your Lord for what pledge He gave you. If you remove this plague from us, then we will acknowledge you and we will send with you the Children of Israel."
