Surah 7 · Verse 136

فَانْتَقَمْنَاfa-intaqamnāSo We took retributionمِنْهُمْmin'humfrom themفَاَغْرَقْنَاهُمْfa-aghraqnāhumand We drowned themفِيfīinالْيَمِّl-yamithe seaبِاَنَّهُمْbi-annahumbecause theyكَذَّبُواkadhabūdeniedبِاٰيَاتِنَاbiāyātināOur Signsوَكَانُواwakānūand they wereعَنْهَاʿanhāto themغَافِل۪ينَghāfilīnaheedless
