Surah 7 · Verse 137

وَاَوْرَثْنَاwa-awrathnāAnd We made inheritorsالْقَوْمَl-qawmathe peopleالَّذ۪ينَalladhīnathose whoكَانُواkānūwereيُسْتَضْعَفُونَyus'taḍʿafūnaconsidered weakمَشَارِقَmashāriqa(the) eastern (parts)الْاَرْضِl-arḍi(of) the landوَمَغَارِبَهَاwamaghāribahāand the western (parts) of itالَّت۪يallatīwhichبَارَكْنَاbāraknāWe blessedف۪يهَاۜfīhā[in it]وَتَمَّتْwatammatAnd was fulfilledكَلِمَتُkalimatu(the) wordرَبِّكَrabbika(of) your Lordالْحُسْنٰىl-ḥus'nāthe bestعَلٰىʿalāforبَن۪ٓيbanī(the) Childrenاِسْرَٓائ۪لَis'rāīla(of) Israelبِمَاbimābecauseصَبَرُواۜṣabarūthey were patientوَدَمَّرْنَاwadammarnāAnd We destroyedمَاmāwhatكَانَkānaused toيَصْنَعُyaṣnaʿumakeفِرْعَوْنُfir'ʿawnuFiraunوَقَوْمُهُwaqawmuhuand his peopleوَمَاwamāand whatكَانُواkānūthey used toيَعْرِشُونَyaʿrishūnaerect
