وَاِذْwa-idhAnd whenق۪يلَqīlait was saidلَهُمُlahumuto themاسْكُنُواus'kunūLiveهٰذِهِhādhihi(in) thisالْقَرْيَةَl-qaryatacityوَكُلُواwakulūand eatمِنْهَاmin'hāfrom itحَيْثُḥaythuwhereverشِئْتُمْshi'tumyou wishوَقُولُواwaqūlūand sayحِطَّةٌḥiṭṭatunRepentanceوَادْخُلُواwa-ud'khulūand enterالْبَابَl-bābathe gateسُجَّداًsujjadanprostratingنَغْفِرْnaghfirWe will forgiveلَكُمْlakumfor youخَط۪ٓيـَٔاتِكُمْۜkhaṭīātikumyour sinsسَنَز۪يدُsanazīduWe will increase (reward)الْمُحْسِن۪ينَl-muḥ'sinīna(of) the good-doersWhen they were told: "Reside in this town and eat from it as you please, talk amicably and enter the passage by prostrating, We will then forgive for you your wrong doings. We will increase for the good doers."
