Surah 7 · Verse 165

فَلَمَّاfalammāSo whenنَسُواnasūthey forgotمَاmāwhatذُكِّرُواdhukkirūthey had been remindedبِه۪ٓbihiwith [it]اَنْجَيْنَاanjaynāWe savedالَّذ۪ينَalladhīnathose whoيَنْهَوْنَyanhawnaforbadeعَنِʿani[from]السُّٓوءِl-sūithe evilوَاَخَذْنَاwa-akhadhnāand We seizedالَّذ۪ينَalladhīnathose whoظَلَمُواẓalamūwrongedبِعَذَابٍbiʿadhābinwith a punishmentبَـ۪ٔيسٍbaīsinwretchedبِمَاbimābecauseكَانُواkānūthey wereيَفْسُقُونَyafsuqūnadefiantly disobeying
