Surah 7 · Verse 168

وَقَطَّعْنَاهُمْwaqaṭṭaʿnāhumAnd We divided themفِيfīinالْاَرْضِl-arḍithe earthاُمَماًۚumaman(as) nationsمِنْهُمُmin'humuAmong themالصَّالِحُونَl-ṣāliḥūna(are) the righteousوَمِنْهُمْwamin'humand among themدُونَdūna(are) other thanذٰلِكَۘdhālikathatوَبَلَوْنَاهُمْwabalawnāhumAnd We tested themبِالْحَسَنَاتِbil-ḥasanātiwith the goodوَالسَّيِّـَٔاتِwal-sayiātiand the badلَعَلَّهُمْlaʿallahumso that they mayيَرْجِعُونَyarjiʿūnareturn
