وَاِذْwa-idhAnd whenنَتَقْنَاnataqnāWe raisedالْجَبَلَl-jabalathe mountainفَوْقَهُمْfawqahumabove themكَاَنَّهُka-annahuas if it wasظُلَّةٌẓullatuna canopyوَظَنُّٓواwaẓannūand they thoughtاَنَّهُannahuthat itوَاقِعٌwāqiʿun(would) fallبِهِمْۚbihimupon themخُذُواkhudhū(We said), "TakeمَٓاmāwhatاٰتَيْنَاكُمْātaynākumWe have given youبِقُوَّةٍbiquwwatinwith strengthوَاذْكُرُواwa-udh'kurūand rememberمَاmāwhatف۪يهِfīhi(is) in itلَعَلَّكُمْlaʿallakumso that you mayتَتَّقُونَ۟tattaqūnafear AllahWhen We raised the mountain above them as if it were a cloud, and they thought it would fall on them: "Take what We have given you with strength and remember what is in it that you may be aware."
