Surah 7 · Verse 179

وَلَقَدْwalaqadAnd certainlyذَرَأْنَاdharanāWe have createdلِجَهَنَّمَlijahannamafor Hellكَث۪يراًkathīranmanyمِنَminaofالْجِنِّl-jinithe jinnوَالْاِنْسِۘwal-insiand menلَهُمْlahumFor themقُلُوبٌqulūbun(are) heartsلَاlā(but) notيَفْقَهُونَyafqahūnathey understandبِهَاۘbihāwith themوَلَهُمْwalahumand for themاَعْيُنٌaʿyunun(are) eyesلَاlā(but) notيُبْصِرُونَyub'ṣirūnathey seeبِهَاۘbihāwith themوَلَهُمْwalahumand for themاٰذَانٌādhānun(are) earsلَاlā(but) notيَسْمَعُونَyasmaʿūnathey hearبِهَاۜbihāwith themاُو۬لٰٓئِكَulāikaThoseكَالْاَنْعَامِkal-anʿāmi(are) like cattleبَلْbalnayهُمْhumtheyاَضَلُّۜaḍallu(are) more astrayاُو۬لٰٓئِكَulāikaThoseهُمُhumutheyالْغَافِلُونَl-ghāfilūna(are) the heedless
