Surah 7 · Verse 39

وَقَالَتْwaqālatAnd (will) sayاُو۫لٰيهُمْūlāhum(the) first of themلِاُخْرٰيهُمْli-ukh'rāhumto (the) last of themفَمَاfamāThen notكَانَkānaisلَكُمْlakumfor youعَلَيْنَاʿalaynāupon usمِنْminanyفَضْلٍfaḍlinsuperiorityفَذُوقُواfadhūqūso tasteالْعَذَابَl-ʿadhābathe punishmentبِمَاbimāfor whatكُنْتُمْkuntumyou used toتَكْسِبُونَ۟taksibūnaearn
