Surah 7 · Verse 73

وَاِلٰىwa-ilāAnd toثَمُودَthamūdaThamudاَخَاهُمْakhāhum(We sent) their brotherصَـالِـحاًۢṣāliḥanSalihقَالَqālaHe saidيَاyāOقَوْمِqawmimy peopleاعْبُدُواuʿ'budūWorshipاللّٰهَl-lahaAllahمَاmānotلَكُمْlakumfor youمِنْminanyاِلٰهٍilāhingodغَيْرُهُۜghayruhuother than HimقَدْqadVerilyجَٓاءَتْكُمْjāatkumhas come to youبَيِّنَةٌbayyinatuna clear proofمِنْminfromرَبِّكُمْۜrabbikumyour Lordهٰذِه۪hādhihiThisنَاقَةُnāqatu(is) a she-camelاللّٰهِl-lahi(of) Allahلَكُمْlakum(it is) for youاٰيَةًāyatana SignفَذَرُوهَاfadharūhāSo you leave herتَأْكُلْtakul(to) eatف۪ٓيfīonاَرْضِarḍi(the) earthاللّٰهِl-lahi(of) Allahوَلَاwalāand (do) notتَمَسُّوهَاtamassūhātouch herبِسُٓوءٍbisūinwith harmفَيَأْخُذَكُمْfayakhudhakumlest seizes youعَذَابٌʿadhābuna punishmentاَل۪يمٌalīmunpainful
