قَالَqālaSaidالْمَلَأُl-mala-uthe chiefsالَّذ۪ينَalladhīnathoseاسْتَكْبَرُواis'takbarū(who) were arrogantمِنْminamongقَوْمِه۪qawmihihis peopleلِلَّذ۪ينَlilladhīnato those whoاسْتُضْعِفُواus'tuḍ'ʿifūwere oppressedلِمَنْliman[to] those whoاٰمَنَāmanabelievedمِنْهُمْmin'humamong themاَتَعْلَمُونَataʿlamūnaDo you knowاَنَّannathatصَالِحاًṣāliḥanSalihمُرْسَلٌmur'salun(is the) one sentمِنْminfromرَبِّه۪ۜrabbihihis LordقَالُٓواqālūThey saidاِنَّاinnāIndeed, weبِمَٓاbimāin whatاُرْسِلَur'silahe has been sentبِه۪bihiwith [it]مُؤْمِنُونَmu'minūna(are) believersThe leaders who were arrogant from among his people said to those who had acknowledged among the powerless: "How do you know that Saleh was sent from his Lord?" They said, "We acknowledge the message he has been sent with."
