Surah 7 · Verse 77

فَعَقَرُواfaʿaqarūThen they hamstrungالنَّاقَةَl-nāqatathe she-camelوَعَتَوْاwaʿatawand (were) insolentعَنْʿantowardsاَمْرِamri(the) commandرَبِّهِمْrabbihim(of) their Lordوَقَالُواwaqālūand they saidيَاyāOصَالِحُṣāliḥuSalihائْتِنَاi'tināBring usبِمَاbimāwhatتَعِدُنَٓاtaʿidunāyou promise usاِنْinifكُنْتَkuntayou areمِنَminaofالْمُرْسَل۪ينَl-mur'salīnathe Messengers
