Surah 7 · Verse 85

وَاِلٰىwa-ilāAnd toمَدْيَنَmadyanaMadyanاَخَاهُمْakhāhumhis brotherشُعَيْباًۜshuʿaybanShuaibقَالَqālaHe saidيَاyāOقَوْمِqawmimy peopleاعْبُدُواuʿ'budūWorshipاللّٰهَl-lahaAllahمَاmānotلَكُمْlakumfor youمِنْminanyاِلٰهٍilāhingodغَيْرُهُۜghayruhuother than HimقَدْqadVerilyجَٓاءَتْكُمْjāatkumhas came to youبَيِّنَةٌbayyinatuna clear proofمِنْminfromرَبِّكُمْrabbikumyour Lordفَاَوْفُواfa-awfūSo give fullالْكَيْلَl-kayla[the] measureوَالْم۪يزَانَwal-mīzānaand the weightوَلَاwalāand (do) notتَبْخَسُواtabkhasūdepriveالنَّاسَl-nāsa[the] peopleاَشْيَٓاءَهُمْashyāahumin their thingsوَلَاwalāand (do) notتُفْسِدُواtuf'sidūcause corruptionفِيfīinالْاَرْضِl-arḍithe earthبَعْدَbaʿdaafterاِصْلَاحِهَاۜiṣ'lāḥihāits reformationذٰلِكُمْdhālikumThatخَيْرٌkhayrun(is) betterلَكُمْlakumfor youاِنْinifكُنْتُمْkuntumyou areمُؤْمِن۪ينَۚmu'minīnabelievers
