Surah 8 · Verse 26

وَاذْكُـرُٓواwa-udh'kurūAnd rememberاِذْidhwhenاَنْتُمْantumyouقَل۪يلٌqalīlun(were) fewمُسْتَضْعَفُونَmus'taḍʿafūna(and) deemed weakفِيfīinالْاَرْضِl-arḍithe earthتَخَافُونَtakhāfūnafearingاَنْanthatيَتَخَطَّفَكُمُyatakhaṭṭafakumumight do away with youالنَّاسُl-nāsuthe menفَاٰوٰيكُمْfaāwākumthen He sheltered youوَاَيَّدَكُمْwa-ayyadakumand strengthened youبِنَصْرِه۪binaṣrihiwith His helpوَرَزَقَكُمْwarazaqakumand provided youمِنَminaofالطَّيِّبَاتِl-ṭayibātithe good thingsلَعَلَّكُمْlaʿallakumso that you mayتَشْكُرُونَtashkurūna(be) thankful
