Surah 8 · Verse 52

كَدَأْبِkadabiLike (the) wayاٰلِāli(of) peopleفِرْعَوْنَۙfir'ʿawna(of) Firaunوَالَّذ۪ينَwa-alladhīnaand those whoمِنْmin(were) fromقَبْلِهِمْۜqablihimbefore themكَفَرُواkafarūThey disbelievedبِاٰيَاتِbiāyātiin (the) Signsاللّٰهِl-lahi(of) Allahفَاَخَذَهُمُfa-akhadhahumuso seized themاللّٰهُl-lahuAllahبِذُنُوبِهِمْۜbidhunūbihimfor their sinsاِنَّinnaIndeedاللّٰهَl-lahaAllahقَوِيٌّqawiyyun(is) All-Strongشَد۪يدُshadīdu(and) severeالْعِقَابِl-ʿiqābi(in) the penalty
