Surah 8 · Verse 65

يَٓاyāOاَيُّهَاʾaayyuhāpart of “O”النَّبِيُّl-nabiyuProphetحَرِّضِḥarriḍiUrgeالْمُؤْمِن۪ينَl-mu'minīnathe believersعَلَىʿalātoالْقِتَالِۜl-qitāli[the] fightاِنْinIfيَكُنْyakun(there) areمِنْكُمْminkumamong youعِشْرُونَʿish'rūnatwentyصَابِرُونَṣābirūnasteadfastيَغْلِبُواyaghlibūthey will overcomeمِائَتَيْنِۚmi-ataynitwo hundredوَاِنْwa-inAnd ifيَكُنْyakun(there) areمِنْكُمْminkumamong youمِائَةٌmi-atuna hundredيَغْلِبُٓواyaghlibūthey will overcomeاَلْفاًalfana thousandمِنَminaofالَّذ۪ينَalladhīnathose whoكَفَرُواkafarūdisbelieveبِاَنَّهُمْbi-annahumbecause theyقَوْمٌqawmun(are) a peopleلَاlā(who do) notيَفْقَهُونَyafqahūnaunderstand
