Surah 8 · Verse 9

اِذْidhWhenتَسْتَغ۪يثُونَtastaghīthūnayou were seeking helpرَبَّكُمْrabbakum(of) your Lordفَاسْتَجَابَfa-is'tajābaand He answeredلَكُمْlakum[to] youاَنّ۪يannīIndeed, I amمُمِدُّكُمْmumiddukumgoing to reinforce youبِاَلْفٍbi-alfinwith a thousandمِنَminaofالْمَلٰٓئِكَةِl-malāikatithe Angelsمُرْدِف۪ينَmur'difīnaone after another
