مَاmāNotكَانَkāna(it) isلِلنَّبِيِّlilnnabiyyifor the Prophetوَالَّذ۪ينَwa-alladhīnaand those whoاٰمَنُٓواāmanūbelieveاَنْanthatيَسْتَغْفِرُواyastaghfirūthey ask forgivenessلِلْمُشْرِك۪ينَlil'mush'rikīnafor the polytheistsوَلَوْwalaweven thoughكَانُٓواkānūthey beاُو۬ل۪يulīnear of kinقُرْبٰىqur'bānear of kinمِنْminafterبَعْدِbaʿdiafterمَاmā[what]تَبَيَّنَtabayyanahas become clearلَهُمْlahumto themاَنَّهُمْannahumthat theyاَصْحَابُaṣḥābu(are the) companionsالْجَح۪يمِl-jaḥīmi(of) the HellfireIt is not for the prophet and those who acknowledge that they should seek forgiveness for those who have set up partners, even if they are relatives, after it has been made clear to them that they are the dwellers of hell.
