Surah 9 · Verse 118

وَعَلَىwaʿalāAnd onالثَّلٰثَةِl-thalāthatithe threeالَّذ۪ينَalladhīna(of) those whoخُلِّفُواۜkhullifūwere left behindحَتّٰٓىḥattāuntilاِذَاidhāwhenضَاقَتْḍāqat(was) straitenedعَلَيْهِمُʿalayhimufor themالْاَرْضُl-arḍuthe earthبِمَاbimāthoughرَحُبَتْraḥubatit was vastوَضَاقَتْwaḍāqatAnd (was) straitenedعَلَيْهِمْʿalayhimfor themاَنْفُسُهُمْanfusuhumtheir own soulsوَظَنُّٓواwaẓannūand they were certainاَنْanthatلَاlā(there is) noمَلْجَأَmalja-arefugeمِنَminafromاللّٰهِl-lahiAllahاِلَّٓاillāexceptاِلَيْهِۜilayhito HimثُمَّthummaThenتَابَtābaHe turned (in mercy)عَلَيْهِمْʿalayhimto themلِيَتُوبُواۜliyatūbūthat they may repentاِنَّinnaIndeedاللّٰهَl-lahaAllahهُوَhuwaHeالتَّوَّابُl-tawābu(is) the Acceptor of repentanceالرَّح۪يمُ۟l-raḥīmuthe Most Merciful
