Surah 9 · Verse 85

وَلَاwalāAnd (let) notتُعْجِبْكَtuʿ'jib'kaimpress youاَمْوَالُهُمْamwāluhumtheir wealthوَاَوْلَادُهُمْۜwa-awlāduhumand their childrenاِنَّمَاinnamāOnlyيُر۪يدُyurīduAllah intendsاللّٰهُl-lahuAllah intendsاَنْantoيُعَذِّبَهُمْyuʿadhibahumpunish themبِهَاbihāwith itفِيfīinالدُّنْيَاl-dun'yāthe worldوَتَزْهَقَwatazhaqaand will departاَنْفُسُهُمْanfusuhumtheir soulsوَهُمْwahumwhile theyكَافِرُونَkāfirūna(are) disbelievers
